So do some new things; try bikram, bike or hike up a mountain, get a membership at your pool, do a marathon or half-marathon (or quarter marathon - bay to breakers tomorrow!).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Get inspired and give yourself the chance to remember that you love working out - crew is great but sometimes having a break is too.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Congrats and good luck to everyone going to nationals :)&lt;/p&gt;

Whatever machines or weights your gym has, figure how to use them &lt;em&gt;safely&lt;/em&gt;, and do so whenever you can. Don’t overtrain if you haven’t worked out in a bit, but dedicate as much time as you would if you had practice.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;we also barbecue, so if anyone has a portable grill that’s a good idea for both rowers and families.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;chocolate milk is a really good idea, and/or gatorade because it’s yummy and refills your sugar after a race. looots of water bottles.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;uhh… bagels, fruit and protein/granola bars are also good. that’s all i can think of at the moment, hope it helps :)&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Senior sweatshirts are always a good idea, you can do a lot of different things with that.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Plaques, blades with their names or s/t, personalized t-shirts or tank tops, etc&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Think of what you would do for a boat gift and then like, build on that.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;180km. 4 days. Pain.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;From the 23-26 June 2013, 8 women from Corpus Christi College Boat Club will be rowing from Oxford to London to raise money for the eating disorder charity ‘Beat’. This charity is of particular significance to us because one member of our crew successfully overcame a severe eating disorder in part due to incredible support from Beat, alongside the motivation to build physical strength provided by rowing.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Over the next few months we will be training, fundraising and raising awareness for this event, and we hope that you will join us in our endeavours to raise money for the truly worthwhile and necessary work that Beat does to improve, and even save, the lives of thousands of eating disorder sufferers nationwide.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We will push our bodies to the limits to stop eating disorder sufferers from doing the same.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Help us achieve out £10,000 target by &lt;a href="http://www.justgiving.com/londonrow" title="just giving" target="_blank"&gt;donating here&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
